Ecology

Ecology is actually a branch of biology, dealing with organisms and their relationship with their physical environment.  They endeavour to maintain balance in the environment through conservation and biological principles.  Their work involves preserving cultural historical and environmental heritage, while determining ecological function and social value.  They use scientific and mathematic models to combine field and laboratory work to develop ecological concepts.  They try to prevent modern industry from encroaching on nature and the environment too drastically.  They do research and give their findings to government, major companies and electoral watchdogs.
