Archaeology

Archaeology is the study of human history and pre-history. It entails much more that digging up artefacts and exploring ancient Egyptian tombs. For example, cultural resources management (CRM) deals with the identification, preservation, and maintenance of existing cultural sites, while zoo-archaeology analyses animal remains. Marine and maritime archaeology and industrial archaeology also yield interesting objects and structures to study.
