Aquaculture

Aquaculture is the farming of aquatic (freshwater and marine) organisms including fish, molluscs, crustaceans and plants in a controlled or selected aquatic environments.

It uses different methods such as regular stocking, feeding and protection from predators in the rearing process to enhance production.

Level 1 aquaculture skills development and training is offered as well as a programme for farmers in the aquaculture sector. These courses include:
