DEPUTY DIRECTOR: FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
All-inclusive starting salary package R562, 777 per annum.
This vacancy exists within the Directorate: Finance and Administration for a person who will manage the finance and administration function according to defined business goals and ensure that staff activities are aligned with operational plans and that set policies and procedures are followed at all times.
The most eligible candidate should possess a B-Degree plus “Articles” or equivalent qualification (NQF level 7) plus a minimum of five to seven years in accounting / finance control management position or new CA (SA). Financial management, administrative, leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical and calculations skills should be the strengths of those aspiring for appointment.
Knowledge of AccPac, VIP Payroll and GRAP is essential.
Furthermore, knowledge of the PFMA, PPPFA and SAQA legislation will be an added advantage.
The main duties of this position are to:
- Produce monthly management accounts and reports
- Co-ordinate finance and budgetary functions
- Prepare statutory and mandatory returns
- Provide audit support
- Maintain an effective salary administration service
- Manage staff, relationships and other resources such as finances, equipment and materials.
