Choosing the Right Qualifications 

When it comes to selecting a place to study, there are many options to choose from - so do some research to find out which one caters best for your study needs. You will discover that training institutions have their own unique 'personalities' and many offer a wide range of extra-mural student activities, while others focus on specialized training.

Not all tertiary training institutions have the same entry requirements. There are many options to choose from so take the time to find the right one for you!

After choosing your field of study, knowing where and how to get the most suitable qualifications is the next step. 
 
Ensuring that your choice of provider – university, university of technology, further education and training college, or private educational provider – is accredited and offers recognised and accredited training is essential! 
 
Important questions to ask when choosing where to study:

• Does the training provider offer qualifications registered on the National Qualifications Framework?
• Is the training provider accredited with the relevant accreditation agencies?
• Can they produce supporting documentation as proof?
