Tyron: I had a bursary from GSK and funding from my parents.
Sean: My parents helped me

I love my job because...
Tyron: I get to play music and entertain people; I instill different emotions in people and make them feel a certain way. I get to share my music with the world.
Sean: Everything I do in life is out of passion and I do every task to the best of my ability as I know it will benefit me and my life in the future.

A typical working day:
Tyron: Write songs, work long hours in studios, record and record again, play shows, do the odd photo shoot and interview now and then.
Sean: Sound engineering, recording bands, having lectures, playing music.

Highlights of the job:
Tyron: The job is great because I get to meet various people all day and work with amazing other musicians. We get to play in many weird and wonderful places and get paid to play our songs!

Sean: The main thing to me is that I love and enjoy the work I do. I cant go with out it, it keeps me alive. If you don’t enjoy what you are doing in life then you are not living life to the fullest.

Challenges:
Tyron: The job can be quite stressful as sleep deprivation is often a common thing we deal with, looming deadlines for work, as with any job also isn’t too relaxing.
Sean: Clients problems that become yours!

I would recommend this career because:
Tyron: It is fun and you get to share your music with the world and who knows what will happen, the sky is the limit!
Sean: You have freedom of expression and you are able to make bands and individual artists sound good and help them make there dreams come true.

What next:
Tyron: Continue playing the music and take Far Horizon further every day.
Sean: Open my own record label with a state of the art studio. Make my music heard.
