SEIFSA technician bursaries cover tuition fees and a further amount of R 2 500 per semester for full-time National Diploma courses, S1 to S4. Each bursary is awarded for one semester initially and is renewable to satisfactory academic progress. The maximum period for any one bursary awarded may not exceed the normal period of the course. Preference is given to employees of Seifsa member companies or their children to study engineering at a registered South African Technikon or University of Technology.
The amount of the bursary is intended to cover tuition fees, books, instruments etc.
A SEIFSA bursary holder may NOT be in receipt of any other bursary or study award. Bursaries will NOT be awarded for part courses or a few subjects only.
These bursaries cover tuition fees only.
