| Saffinah asks: I have a senior certificate with a higher grade in English, I want to study physiotherapy what must I do to qualify to study in this field? |
| Dear Saffinah: Thank you for your email. The subject requirements to a BSc Physiotherapy degree are Mathematics and Physical Science. If you have these subjects we suggest you contact the university you wish to attend directly to see if you meet their admission requirements such as mark requirements.
If you don’t have the required subjects you can contact private colleges such as Damelin, Abbots College, Progress College or Intec College to see if they can help you with suitable courses:
You will need to present your new marks with your Senior Certificate when you go to register for your BSc physiotherapy.
If you want to study next year we suggest you contact your university as soon as possible to see if you are still able to register for study.
We wish you all the best in all your future endeavours. We would also like to keep in contact with you to see how you are progressing; however, if you prefer that we do not contact you please let us know.
