A National Diploma (Safety Management) prepares you to design procedures and programs to safe guard people from illness or injury caused by exposrue to chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. Your job will involve conducting inspections and encouraging people to abide by the laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals. You may find employment in either the public or private sector as a Loss Control Officer, Risk Control Officer, Safety Officer or Safety, Health And Environmental Quality (SHEQ) Officer.
