Thank you for your enquiry. An RPL process is likely to cost as much as a studying course, as it is a lengthy, time consuming process.
To get a clearer understanding of the costs involved we suggest your contact your local FET College for information regarding a National Certificate (Vocational) Civil Engineering and building construction level 3 and how to go about applying for an RPL process, what it entails and how much this is likely to cost.
You could also contact the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA: http://www.ceta.org.za/) to find out how to access the RPL process, what it entails and what costs can be expected. They may also be able to give you a list of local providers who are registered to provide the RPL service you require.
