We are not an employer of electrical engineering technicians and are therefore not able to provide in-service training for you. We suggest you contact power generation organizations like Eskom, transport companies like the Spoornet and Safmarine, telecommunication organizations like Telkom. MTN or Vodacom or companies in the smelting or production industries that make us of large quantities of electricity to power furnaces or industrial processes.

Try contacting some of the sector education and training authorities in your areas of interest to see if they can refer you to organizations that offer internships. For example:

• Manufacturing Engineering and Related Services Sector Education Training Authority (MERSETA: http://www.merseta.org.za/)
• Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA: http://www.teta.org.za/)
