Dear Anél
We suggest you contact universities with a medical faculty to find out the admission requirements for transferring students with a BSc degree. If this is a viable option then we suggest you contact UNISA to see if you can do an appropriate BSc Life Sciences degree with the sort of subjects required for admission by the university medical faculties. If UNISA is not happy with your matric marks then find out from them if you are eligible for their BSc Access program.
We also suggest you explore health sciences qualifications offered by universities of technology for example, radiography, dental assisting and optical dispensing. Contact your nearest university of technology to see if you can access their courses directly or if you will need to complete a BSc access program through UNISA first.
Please make use of the career planet places to study web page to find your local university of technology and UNISA’s contact details: http://www.careerplanet.co.za/_pages/places_to_study
Best wishes for your future career in medical sciences.
Lynn and the Career Planet Team
