The subject package you describe offers quite a few options. Below are a few ideas to help you get the ball rolling:

If you want to study through a College of Further Education and Training (FET College) such as the College of Cape Town or Northlink College in he Western Cape the following list provides some idea of the sort of courses on offer:

• General studies: which includes creative courses as well as courses in Hair care; Education & Training; Hospitality, food services and catering and Travel & Tourism
• Business studies
• Engineering Studies

Depending on your higher grade and standard grade subjects you may also meet entry requirements for some courses offered by a University of Technology such as Cape Peninsular University of Technology (CPUT). For example:

• Agriculture, Agricultural Management, Horticulture, Landscape Technology, Nature Conservation
• Teaching including: General Education & Training (GET) either Foundation Phase (Grade R—3) or Intermediate & Senior Phases (Grade 4—9); Further Education & Training (FET) Economics and Management Sciences.
• Communication and Creative courses including Journalism, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design and Manufacture, Multimedia Technology, Photography
• Business and administration courses like Human Resource Management,  Marketing; Public Relations Management; Real Estate; Retail Business Management; Tourism Management
• Hospitality, cooking and catering courses such as Hospitality Management; Professional Cookery
• Maritime Studies

Consult your local University of Technology websites for the courses they offer and their specific entry requirements.

If you have a matric exemption then you may also explore careers in the humanities which require a University degree, for example: Actor, Artist, Lawyer, Librarian, Social Worker and Theologian to only mention a few. Please consult the university, university of technology and college websites for their specific entry requirements.
