SAMRO Music Bursaries Still Open!
Substantial bursary awards from the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) open to applicants registered for a music degree/diploma at a South African university in 2012. General Music Study Bursaries (R10 000 each) available for students in 1st and 2nd year; Music Education Bursaries (R10 000 each) available for students in 3rd and 4th year; Music Composition Bursaries (R10 000 each) for students in 3rd and 4th year, or postgraduate level; and Indigenous African Music Research (10 000 each) for postgrad students.
