Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Communications and/or Public Relations
• Minimum of three years working experience in Communications and/or Public Relations
• Experience in the NGO sector
• Ability to build and manage key relationships in South African media
• Communicator who works comfortably with diverse groups of people
• Writing skills in English and another South African language
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise work and manage deadlines
• Ability to manage a project from inception to delivery, including working with budgets, managing dependencies and taking responsibility for project success
• Ability to contribute to project planning and strategic direction of the unit
• Computer Literacy
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Website content management skills
• Knowledge of social media
