Watchmaker
A watchmaker is responsible for the maintenance, repair and setting of quarts and mechanical watches.
The watchmaker:

receives broken or defective watches

listens to customers' complaints

traces faults
-
dismantles the watches
-
repairs or replaces broken or worn parts

assembles the watches again
-
adjusts, sets, winds them up and tests them
The watchmaker also cleans, services and oils clocks. When a part is unobtainable you will have to manufacture it yourself.
The watchmaker employed in the manufacturing industry, assembles watches and adjusts and sets them. You may also repair jewellery, silverware, and other items.
The watchmaker who owns a shop will supervise employees, keep records, order parts, supply and perform other managerial duties.
