Does a life on the road appeal to you. Driving long distances across the Country delivering equipment, cars or furniture? Then becoming a Truck Driver could be just what you are looking for.
Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW, to transport and deliver goods, livestock, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form.
Truck Drivers might be required to unload their cargo at the destination. This might require the use of automated routing equipment which will in turn require folloiwng the appropriate safety procedures of equipment use.
Truck Drivers will need to their vehicle before driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
