As a Slot Machine Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair work on the Slot Machines.
It is necessary for Slot Machine Technicians to undergo special Training.
Having a National Certificate in Gaming: Slots Operation (NQF3)with some experience working on electronic equipment or an additional electronics qualification will give you an advantage.
The slot machine technicians play an important role in the casino and must be trustworthy and reliable at all times since they work with large amounts of cash and against time.
As some formal training is required prior to working as a Slot Machine Technician, this position is not an entry-level casino job and there are in general not many vacancies in this area. It is best to enquire who holds the maintenance contract for any specific Casino or Gaming Institution.
