It is important that ass a Salesperson you know the products that you are responsible for selling, so that you can answer customers’ queries about the products.
A Salesperson must be able, where necessary, to demonstrate how the products they are selling work and how they should be used. You will show various models and colors of the products and make suggestions to suit the customer’s needs
The Salesperson makes out sales slips and invoices, takes cash payments and returns change and receipts. Sometimes you may complete hire-purchase documents and have them duly signed. In some cases you will handle product returns, exchanges and trade-ins.
All training is given in-house and as such the sales people learn the products relevant to the company.
