Model
Models wear and display the latest fashion designs and cosmetics. They may specialise in live or photographic modelling or do both. Live models appear before audiences wearing the latest styles of designers, manufacturers or retail shops. They model the garments for potential customers while a compere describes the garments that are being worn.
Models work in studios or on location at fashion shoots. On the catwalk participating in fashion shows or travelling with designers and photographers.
Models have the opportunity to do a variety of work and have the possibility of earning very high salaries. There is the opportunity to travel overseas and the chance of becoming a famous face in the modelling world.
