Leadership Development Specialist
Leadership development specialists are responsible for all strategic planning and aspects of leadership development, career paths, succession planning and performance management within organisations. They use different development methods such as on-the-job-training, electronic training, practical training and theoretical training.
Duties:
· Monitoring and evaluating employees’ performance and recommending suitable employees for leadership development programs.
· They develop and organise training manuals, conduct and supervise training sessions, keep records and produce reports that monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development programs.
· Send supervisors with leadership potential on development programs to prepare them for executive positions.
· Send supervisors and managers to develop their own interpersonal skills and how to manage their employees effectively.
· Conduct leadership development programs amongst lower level executive positions that become available.
