You will find that a Human Resource Manager does a similar job within a certain business or organisation whereas the HR Professional will work on issues between businesses, organisations, government,unions and smaller agencies.
The HR Professional can work in a really big business or group of businesses or could be a consultant that is hired by the business to sort out a Human Resource problem.
The HR Professional will deal with the following:
- The planning, interviewing and recruitment of staff
- Assist in resolving staff problems in the workplace
- They can represent any of the various parties [ industrial, commercial, union, employer and others] in negotiations on issues such as rates of pay and conditions of employment.
If you are someone who enjoys challenges and working with people and especially like to work out problems, then a career as a Human Resource Professional would be a great one for you!
