The Function of the Human Resource Manager will differ from Company to Company depending largely on the staff compliment. The generic functions are:
management educator;
change agent;
It is the HR Managers responsibility to fill vacant posts within the company by advertising both internally and externally for candidates to fill the post.
They will be responsible for receiving and reviewing CV's as well as interviewing prospective candidates.
They should be familiar with labour law, affirmative action guidelines and other industry related matters.
