Debtors Clerks are the people who keep the records of money owed to the company. They follow up on all payments, calling people who default on their accounts. If deadlines are not met, debtors clerks decide on the steps to be taken in order to recover the outstanding monies.
It is important that Debtors Clerks have a degree of accounting / bookkeeping knowledge and have outgoing personalities. They also need to be willing to spend the majority of their day working with figures and making calculations.
