Computer System Designer
A computer system designer creates complete computer systems for suppliers by putting together various computer parts and software. They are responsible for specifying the components for each model and have to ensure that everything works together.
What they do:
Based on the information received the computer designer designers systems using powerful file servers. The designer determines the needs of the system, as well as other factors such as price, reliability, expandability and upgradability. Once the design has been completed, the system designer will engineer the prototype. They carry out extensive tests to ensure all the components used are compatible, and to correct any design flaws. Once the testing is complete, the final design is then sent off to the manufacturing plant for production, along with diagrams and procedures for the manufacturing technicians to follow.
