Computer Security Specialist
A computer security specialist protects computer systems from illegal invasions, intrusions, viruses, data theft, fraud and tampering.
What they do:
· They set up automatic anti-virus and security monitoring programmes as well as review and check systems for any evidence of tampering.
· Will assist and educate a user in security practices, programmes and systems.
· They will also assist law enforcement officials in computer fraud and invasion investigations.
· They configure and monitor computer systems for computers that allow users to access the internet, to guard against outside viruses, as well as configuring special secure connections to allow customers to send credit card information over the internet safely.
