Computer programmers write the programs that are used by the computer for a specific purpose. A programmer translates the requirements of the software application into a set of logical, specific instructiions using a programming language or code.
There are many levels of responsbility each needing different qualities. Programmers must be able to approach problems with a logical analytical mind. They need to be creative in trying, testing and finding solutions.
