The CFO (Chief Financial Officer) directs the financial activities of an organisation. It is the duty of the CFO to prepare various papers for the financial report of the organisation.
They prepare various financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets and special reports that are required for the local authority to conduct its operations.
They are responsible for the overseeing of cash flow, monitoring extension of credit, assessing the risk of transactions that the local authority might contemplate with private organisations, analysing invstment and developiong informtion to asses the present furtur finanacial status of the local authority. they control large amounts of money, and are involved in budgeting, cost and asset management.
