Biometrician

Biometricians cooperate with researchers during the planning, design, execution, data analysis, interpretation and publication phases of their projects.

They gather, analyse, interpret and present numerical data to assist management in making decisions and they specialise in many fields including:

• agriculture
• health
• medicine
• economics

Biometricians also design and implement questionnaires, surveys, experiments or interviews for gathering data. The results of this data is used to forecast and determine trends and industry requirements. 

Other duties include:

• compiling computer generated charts, graphs and tables of data
• presenting the information to clients
• analysing problems
• assisting with financial aspects
• managing specified projects
