Tellers are the most visible staff in the bank. They handle the money and deal with the public. Tellers are responsible for very large sums of money and work under stress especially at the end of the week and the end of the month. They need to keep accurate clear records of all the transactions they handle.
There are many different processes tellers can be asked to deal with and they need to be familiar with the procedures for each one.
