Architectural Technologist
Architectural Technologists spend most of their time at the drawing board and the computer, but they also deal with local authorities and builders. The work of an Architectural Technologist is similar to that of an Architect, except that they are not as involved in the design of the building.
They assist the architect with:
- landscape design and survey the site
- collecting practical information relating to the project
- supervising the building process.
- Preparing measured drawings of buildings, working drawings for building contractors, and presentation drawings and models for clients.
