Animal Trainer
Animal Trainers train the animals to obey commands, compete in shows, or perform tricks in order to entertain audiences. They evaluate animals to determine their temperament, ability, and aptitude for training.
They conduct training programs to develop desired behaviour.
Other duties may include:
- organising show format
- conducting shos
- cue or signal animals during performances.
- May rehearse animal according to script for motion picture or television film or stage or circus program.
- May train guard dogs to protect property.
- May teach guide dogs and masters to function as a team.
- May observe animal's physical condition to detect illness or unhealthy condition requiring medical care.
