The agricultural journalist covers all events of interest to farmers and others in the area and gather news by observing,interviewing and research relevant topics. Agricultural Journalists might be required to take photographs as well as the reporting and writing up of feature stories about agricultural fairs and livestock shows.
A career in journalism requires travelling to events, meeting people and a variety of different experiences. This requires the ability to communicate effectively, a love for writing and the ability to work under pressure.
